08/27/2015 – You go, I go…Squat Fest!

THURSDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching  followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 30 Jumping Jacks.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Kettlebell

“The Make you Badder Ladder!”

Complete the following

#1:  6 minute Partner Goblet Squats Ladder (“You go, I go” style). When the clock starts, Partner #1 will perform 1 Goblet Squat, then put the Kettlebell down. Partner #2 will perform 1 Goblet Squat, then put the Kettlebell down. Partner #1 will perform 2 Goblet Squats, then Partner #2 will perform 2 Goblet Squats…continue alternating in this manner until time elapses working to accumulate as many Goblet Squats as possible.

#2: Complete 3 Rounds of the following (for quality)

20 Side Lunges (10/side)

15 Spiderman Plank (per side)

10 Squat Thrusts

5 Pushups

Record the weight of the Kettlebell used for squats and how many squats you performed. Consult a math teacher if you have trouble determining the total.
