08/25/2016: Goblet Squat Ladder!

Nico working on building his strength with sled drags + farmer's carry so he will be faster on the soccer field next spring! The sled is 130# and he's carry a total of 53.2#. That's how we do it in the Smugs Fitness Lab!

Workout #235 of 366 (2016)

THURSDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching     followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 30 Jumping Jacks.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Kettlebell

Complete the following

#1:  6 minute Partner Goblet Squats Ladder (“You go, I go” style). When the clock starts, Partner #1 will perform 1 Goblet Squat, then put the Kettlebell down. Partner #2 will perform 1 Goblet Squat, then put the Kettlebell down. Partner #1 will perform 2 Goblet Squats, then Partner #2 will perform 2 Goblet Squats…continue alternating in this manner until time elapses working to accumulate as many Goblet Squats as possible.

***Rest 2 minutes***

#2: Complete 10 minutes of the following

20 Side Lunges (10/side)

10 Squat Thrusts

5 Windshield Wipers (Floor)

Record the weight of the Kettlebell used for squats and how many squats you performed. Record the amount of work finished for #2. Consult a math teacher if you have trouble determining the total.
