TUESDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run/Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching  followed by 5 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 20 Lunge Steps.

“Tabata Time!”

Today’s workout will be performed using the Tabata Protocol. The Tabata Protocol calls for performing eight 30-second intervals where an interval consists of 20 seconds of maximum work effort and 10 seconds of rest yielding a total of 4 minutes for each exercise. Your goal is to perform as many reps as possible of an exercise during each 20 second interval of work. You will perform 5 different exercises today totaling 20 minutes of intervals. There will be a 1-minute rest between exercises.

THE EXERCISES:

Squats

Pushups

Sit-ups

Lateral Jumps

Shuttle Run  (15 Yards out and back)

Post your reps for each exercise and your total reps today. Don’t forget to “LIKE” the workout if you performed it!
