05/25/2016: Getups, Kettlebell Swings, Press, and Plank Drags!

#KettlebellSwings! My apologies for not having a shirt on in the pictures. Loved the sequence and decided to suck it up and post. Ya'll know by now that it's not my style to post shirtless pics!

Workout #146 of 366 (2016)

WEDNESDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 20 Bird Dogs (hold 2 seconds/side)

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Kettlebell

#1: 7 minutes of Turkish Getups

Focus on your form. Don’t rush through the movement. Stuck at a certain point in the movement…? Practice working through that sticking point and get some coaching!

#2: 11 minutes of work

10 One Arm Kettlebell Swings (strong arm)

5 Press (strong arm)

10 One Arm Kettlebell Swings (stronger arm)

5 Press (stronger arm)

10 Kettlebell Figure 8

5 Plank Drags (each side)

Record the weight of the Kettlebell you used and any modifications you made.
