05/23/2015 – Peachtree Road Race Training!

SATURDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching  followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 10 one-footed Lateral Jumps (each foot).

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Timing Device

800’s…ugh!

4 Rounds:

Run 800 meters (fast pace)

Rest 3 minutes between efforts

When you finish all 4 rounds, spend 10 minutes with a resistance band performing hamstring flexibility work. If you have additional time, hit the quads with a foam roller.
