04/29/2014 – Way to go, Kim!

TUESDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching followed by 10 Pushups and 10 Squats.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Kettlebell and a Box, Wall, or Bench

Complete the following 5-minute workout 3 times. Rest 1 minute between each 5 minute interval.

In 5 minutes, complete as many rounds as possible

Sprint 100 meters

3 Burpee Box Jumps     

7 Russian Kettlebell Swings

Record your rounds for each 5-minute interval. Be consistent!

30 seconds Mountain Hoppers

30 seconds Side Plank (left)

30 seconds Pushup-to-Plank

30 seconds REST

 

Congrats to Woodward Boot Camper, Kim M. on winning her age group this weekend in the Oxford, Miss. race! She is pictured with her daughter (Woodward Alum), Madison, who also took home some hardware with a 3rd place finish in her age group. Nice job, ladies!
