04/26/2014 – Running Endurance Training Class 9:00 AM!

REMINDER! Running Endurance Training Class starts at 9:00 AM at Barrett Park today. This is a FREE class and you are welcome to invite friends, family, and anyone else you think might enjoy a great workout. Hope to see you all there!

SATURDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching     followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 30 Jumping Jacks.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Timing Device

#1:Complete 2 rounds of

Run 5 minutes (cover as much ground as possible)

Rest 2 minutes

Immediately following the 2-minute recovery in round 2, start #2.

#2:Complete 5 rounds of the following

1 minute run

30 seconds rest

Record your distance for each interval.

12 V-ups

24 Mountain Hoppers (each leg is ½ rep)
