04/26/2013 – Happy Birthday, Shakespeare!



Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching     followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and MAX time Plankhold.

Today’s workout is in honor of Shakespeare’s birthday. All numbers and the idea to honor Bill were presented to me by “The Grahaminator” of the WA English Department.

Complete 4 Rounds of the following as quickly as possible

1 0.2 mile run (1 is the number of couplets in Shakespeare’s sonnets)

14 Kettlebell Clean and Press  (There are 14 lines in a sonnet)

4 Tuck Jumps  (There are 4 lines in a quatrain)

154 Jump Rope Skips  (total number of Shakespeare sonnets)

18  Kettlebell Snatch [9 per arm]  (Shakespeare’s most famous sonnet is #18)

2 Hatemakers  (number of lines in a couplet)
