04/24/2015 – A little, Shakespeare, anyone?


Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretchingfollowed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, 10 Good Mornings and 15 Jumping Jacks.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Kettlebell AND Jump Rope

Today’s workout is in memory of Shakespeare’s birthday (no one is certain about the exact date, but, it’s either 23 April 1564 or 24 April 1564. He was baptized on 26 April 1564). Complete 2 Rounds of the following as quickly as possible

37 Russian Kettlebell Swings  (number of plays he wrote)

4 Tuck Jumps  (There are 4 lines in a quatrain)

14 Kettlebell Split Squat  (per leg – there are 14 lines in a sonnet)

18  Goblet Squats  (Shakespeare’s most famous sonnet is #18)

2 Hatemakers  (number of lines in a couplet)

154 Jump Rope Skips  (total number of Shakespeare sonnets)
