WEDNESDAY WORKOUT

Location: Weight Room (meet in gym for warmup)

Complete the following as quickly as possible (in any order). You must complete all reps of one exercise before moving to the next. The time limit for completion is 20 minutes. If you finish before time is up, work on hanging knee raises from the pullup bar or if you can, pulling your knees to your elbows.

75 Jump Ropes Skips

25 Push Press (with moderate weight dumbbells – Men 15-30#, Women 5-15#)

75 Situps

25 Burpees

75 Jump Squats

25 Kettlebell Swings (Men 25-35#, Women 10-25#)

75 Pushups

25 Pullups

Can I interest anyone in a shake? For decades Mickey D's has been making delicious shakes for people of all shapes. The image below provides us with a shocking visualization of how much sugar is really packed into a small milkshake.   For those of you looking to quantify this amount, there are 28 sugar cubes in the picture. At approximately, 4 g of sugar/cube that's a whopping 112 grams of sugar in that seemingly innocent, quickly consumed SMALL shake! Yum!

Let's compare that to a cup of strawberries, which has around 8 grams of sugar (2 cubes). Seems like an obvious choice…right?!?
