Workout #116 of 365 (2018)

THURSDAY WORKOUT

Warmup:   Run or Jump Rope for 2-3 minutes. Dynamic Stretching     followed by 10 Pushups, 10 Squats, and 30 Jumping Jacks.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Kettlebell and a Jump Rope

Today’s workout is in memory of Shakespeare’s birthday (no one is certain about the exact date, but, it’s either 23 April 1564 or 24 April 1564. He was baptized on 26 April 1564). All numbers and the idea to honor Bill were presented to me by “The Grahaminator” from the Woodward Academy English Department, so please send all disgruntled messages to

Complete 3 Rounds of the following as quickly as possible (20 minute Time Cap)

37 Kettlebell Swings  (number of plays he wrote)

4 Goblet Squats (There are 4 lines in a quatrain)

14 Pop Jacks (per leg - there are 14 lines in a sonnet)

18 Walking Lunge Steps (9 per leg - Shakespeare’s most famous sonnet is #18)

2 Hatemakers  (number of lines in a couplet)

154 Jump Rope Skips  (total number of Shakespeare sonnets)
