This movement provides one variation for adding weight to the Air Squat. Begin by holding a kettlebell or dumbbell close to your chest, perform a squat keeping the kettlebell or dumbbell close to your chest and then return to the starting position. Be sure to keep the lumbar region of your back engaged and keeop your chest upright throughout the exercise.

The Goblet Squat is one of many variations to the Air Squat and can be including in your training program once you have acheived consistency in executing a proper Air Squat. By adding weight, you will make strength gains more rapdily and boost your fat burning capabilities.
