Dumbbell Thrusters

Exercise Text:

The Dumbbell Thruster combines two movements; the Push Press and the Front Squat into a powerful exercise designed to build strength in both the lower and upper body. The movement begins with the dumbbells in front racked position with feet at squat width (just outside the shoulders). Perform a squat, but on the way up, thrust (pop) your hips and finish the movement by pressing the dumbbells to the overhead locked position. Start the next rep, by ripping the dumbbells back down into racked position.

Note: In high volume, this movement becomes a brutal cardiovascular endurance exercise in addition to the brutal muscle fatigue you will experience.
